Improved and Maintained backend services for over 4 different Teams in Avionics and spanning over 30 applications. Incorporated new features using Scala and TypeScript to overall improve the accuracy of data that is used to calculate the status of Avionic map downloads of 5 important regions. Rectified problematic data and conducted testing utilizing SQL in over 40 tables.
Converted more than 10 GB of raw binary data to operational NetCDF format. Utilized internal UTK APIs to visualize 4 geographic mapping regions for the National Park Service. Integrated the visualizations in a web framework using Python to host 3 different sites which leveraged geographical data to provide functional visual graphs.
Enhanced more than 30 students’ understanding of computer science courses based on Assembly programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
